Planning and Implementing a Montessori School
Wisconsin Montessori Association Presenters: Phillip Dosmann, M. S, ED. Leadership, Retired MPS Montessori Principal, WMA Coaching Coordinator and Board Treasurer, Caroline Robbins, Ed.D.,Vice President, Wisconsin Montessori Association
This session will outline the key steps involved in applying for a Wisconsin charter school grant, including developing a strong vision and mission, identifying Montessori materials and furniture needs, and exploring teacher recruitment and training options. We will also share projected enrollment models to support strategic growth planning for a new school.
Additionally, we will highlight the Wisconsin Montessori Association’s teacher coaching program, which provides valuable support for new programs and fosters networks among both new and established Montessori schools.

Dr. Caroline Robbins is a Montessori administrator in Milwaukee Public Schools, adult education instructor, and researcher. She has also worked as a bilingual guide, admissions director, and family liaison in both public and private Montessori communities.
